Peer to Peer Activities

safe driving teens - making good choices

This highway safety educational effort is accomplished by working with existing peer to peer groups within New Hampshire high schools or by developing new groups who are willing to make teen highway safety a primary emphasis.

Funding and support for this program is provided through New Hampshire’s Office of Highway Safety and the Maternal and Child Health Program of New Hampshire’s DHHS.

Additional support is provided through many partners both public and private. These partners meet every two months in Concord to determine the best ways to improve the quality and growth of this program.

The primary goal is to help teens make good choices. This often allows us the opportunity to blend our program efforts with other groups desiring to achieve similar outcomes. Examples include the annual healthy choices event held at Belmont High or working with the Life of the Athletes program through the NHIAA.
